About Zasya

Growing together —by creating value.

An engineering partner that helps growing companies put AI and automation to work. We start from your problem, find where value is real, and build it end to end.

Engineering since 2015.

Connecting systems across freight, commerce and product teams.

We did it to ourselves first.

4 products, each built to close a gap in our own business. This site’s team and careers pages run on one of them.

Still running what we built.

Three ecosystems running in production today — not launched and handed over to silence.

Our story

Other people's hardest problems, since 2015.

We started in 2015 building software for other people’s hardest problems — and never stopped.

Along the way we built our own products to run our own business: communication, outreach, identity, and hiring tools that had to work every day. That discipline — shipping systems we depend on ourselves — is what we bring to every client engagement.

Today we’re a team of senior engineers and designers based in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, helping growing companies modernize software, automate operations, and put AI to work where it genuinely creates value.

Why we exist

We would rather build one thing that holds than ten that impress.

Zasya started because too much software is sold on capability and judged on a demo, while the business that has to live with it is left holding the maintenance. We wanted to be on the other side of that trade: the people who stay after the launch.

So we begin at the problem rather than the brief. We say plainly when a rule, an integration or a scheduled job would do the job cheaper than the thing you asked for — and we write the trade-offs down before we build, because a decision nobody recorded becomes an argument six months later.

We test that belief on ourselves first. Our performance reviews, our hiring, our outreach and our error tracking all run on software we wrote. If a tool cannot survive our own operations, we do not put it in front of a client.

Real value, not billed hours — the two are not the same thing, and only one of them is worth building a company on.

What we value

How we work with you.

01

Outcomes over output

We scope to the result you hired us for — not a feature list. We say what we will and won’t build.

02

Senior from day one

Senior engineers on your problem from sprint one. No handoffs to a junior bench.

03

Trade-offs in writing

We write down the decisions and the trade-offs before we build, so there are no surprises later.

04

We build for ourselves too

Our own product ecosystem runs our business — we ship the same engineering we sell.

Zasya Foundation

Giving back is a line item, not a campaign.

We are a company from Shimla, staffed largely by people who studied here. The Foundation exists so that stays true as we grow: skills, time and a share of profit go to education, opportunity and community work in the places our team comes from — a floor we hold to in a lean year, and more of it as the business earns more.

01

Skills

Teaching the engineering we do for a living to students who would otherwise leave the state to learn it.

02

Time

Senior people mentoring, reviewing work and sitting on the other side of first interviews.

03

Profit

A committed floor in any year, rising as the business earns more — directed at education, opportunity and community work.

Questions

The things clients ask first.

What makes Zasya different from a typical software agency?
Three things: we scope to outcomes, not features; we staff senior engineers from day one with no handoffs to a junior bench; and we write down the trade-offs before we start building. Most agencies optimize for starting engagements. We optimize for the outcome the client actually hired us to achieve.
Do you work with startups or only enterprise clients?
Both. We have built seed-stage MVPs and modernized established enterprise platforms. The engagement structure is different, but the engineering standards are the same.
Where is your team based?
Our team is based in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, and we work with clients remotely across regions. Building from the hills is an important part of our story — and of our belief that serious technology work can happen from anywhere.
What is your typical engagement length?
It depends on scope, and we scope to your timeline rather than to a template. Discovery is usually a couple of weeks. Builds are structured so something real is working early — weeks, not quarters — and we keep shipping from there. Some engagements wrap quickly; others become long-term partnerships. Either way we agree a practical first milestone and a clear end state before starting.
Can we hire your engineers full-time?
We don’t operate as a staffing agency, and our engineers are not available for direct hire during engagements. After an engagement ends, any arrangement between an engineer and a client is handled separately.
How do you handle IP and confidentiality?
Client work, data and intellectual property are handled in confidence, and we sign NDAs before substantive conversations. Project-specific IP terms are defined in the agreement before the work begins.
